Georgene Milward, 91, of Lexington, died Thursday, January 30 1997 at
Pine Meadows Nursing Home.
  
She was born July 6, 1905, in Paintsville, the daughter of Charles Andrew
Kirk and Mable Preston.
  
She is preceded in death by both parents, son, Charles Kirk Kemper and
husband, W.R. Milward III.
  
She is survived by one daughter, Sarah Anne Smith of Beaufort, South
Carolina; one daughter-in law, Evelyn Kemper of Lexington; four
grandchildren, William Aaron Smith of Indiana, George Whitney Kemper of
Nashville, Tennessee, Mary Kirk Kemper of Portland, Oregon, and Katherine
Vaughan Kemper of Portland, Oregon; 6 great-grandchildren.
  
Burial was in the Preston Cemetery
