EDGAR OWENS

Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, December 14 at 1 p.m.
in Pigeon Enterprise Baptist Church for Edgar Owens, 68.
  
Mr. Owens was born April 23, 1920 in Johnson County, the son of Lee and
Mary Cook Owens. He was a retired Disabled Veteran and a member of
Pigeon Enterprise Baptist Church.
  
Surviving are two brothers, Walter Owens of Oil Springs and Dallas
Owens of Mima; and one sister, Edith Barker of Oil Springs.
  
Officiating at services will be Elder Charles Stapleton.
  
Burial will be in the family cemetery at Oil Springs with Jones-Preston
Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
