Funeral services were held Thursday, Sept. 21, 1 p.m. at the Little Mud
Lick Church of God at Staffordsville, Ky., for Jerry Micheal Pelfrey, 47,
of Staffordsville, who passed away Sunday, Sept. 17 at St. Joseph East
Hospital in Lexington, Ky.
  
Mr. Pelfrey was born May 7, 1959, the son of Nell Blanton of Staffordville
and the late William “Bill” Pelfrey. He was the owner of East Kentucky
Fireworks.
  
Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife, Connie Baker Pelfrey of
Staffordsville; his step- son, James Braden Campbell of Staffordsville; his
step-father, Forrest Pelfrey Jr.; two brothers, Cliff and Jack Pelfrey,
both of Staffordsville; and four nephews, one niece, and two step-nephews.
  
The service was officiated by the Revs. Tobe Wheeler and Roger Hill, with
burial in the Johnson County Memorial Cemetery at Staffordsville.
  
Arrangements under the direction of the Paintsville Funeral Home of
Paintsville.
