RANDY LAYNE PENNINGTON
1954-2006
Funeral services were held Monday, May 8, 1 p.m. at the Paintsville
Funeral Home Chapel in Paintsville, Ky., for Randy Layne Pennington,
51, of Oil Springs, Ky., who passed away Friday, May 5 at Paul B.
Hall Regional Medical Center in Paintsville.
Mr. Pennington was born Sept. 29, 1954 in Paintsville, son of Douglas
and Roxie A. Howard Pennington of Oil Springs. He was employed as a
carpenter in building construction.
Surviving in addition to his parents are one daughter, Heidi Shouse
in the U.S. Air Force, and three sisters, Audrey Baab of Dayton,
Ohio, Sharon Ramirez of Charleston, S.C., and Missi Spradling of
Brookville, Ohio.
The service was officiated by Elders J.D. Rice, Buster Blanton and
John Blanton, with burial following in the Johnson County Memorial
Cemetery at Staffordsville, Ky.
Arrangements under the direction of the Paintsville Funeral Home.
