PENNINGTON,Walter
 WALTER PENNINGTON
1890-1959

Walter Pennington, 68, retired mail carrier and farmer of Flat Gap,
died at his home Monday, May 18, at 4:45 p.m., after an illness of
five years.

He was born in this county October 7, 1890, the son of Levi and
Sylvia Colvin Pennington.

Surviving are six sons, Ray, Roscoe, Roosevelt, and Ren, all of Flat
Gap; George and Frank Pennington, both of Ophir; three daughters,
Sylvania Patrick and Susie Fyffe, both of Baltimore, Md.; Stella
Holbrook, Flat Gap.

Funeral services were conducted at 10:00 a.m., today from the home
with Darrel Fyffe as officiating minister.

Burial was in the family cemetery at Ophir.
