DONIS PRESTON
1917-1984
Funeral services were held January 15, in Concord United Baptist
Church for Donis Preston, 66.
Mr. Preston died January 12, 1984 in Paul B. Hall Medical Center. He
was a resident of Thelma, a merchant-postmaster, and a member of the
Concord United Baptist Church.
Born July 26, 1917 at Thelma he was the son of Willie L. and Virgie
Price Preston.
Surviving are his wife, Daisy Daniel Preston, a son, Terry D.
Preston; Thelma; a daughter Brenda Pack , Thelma; two sisters; Jane
Ward of River and Ruth Gerisch of Mansfield, Ohio; and five
grandchildren.
B.C. Ferguson and Charles Price officiated at services in Concord
United Baptist Church, with burial in Johnson County Memorial
Gardens, Staffordsville.
Preston Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
