GLENN F. PRESTON
1888-1975
    
Glenn F. Preston, 87, died Wednesday, April 2, at the Old Masons Home in
Shelbyville, KY.
    
Born in Johnson County, September 17, 1888, the son of the late Morrel G.
and Ida Thornton Walker Preston, he was affiliated with the Paintsville
Masonic Lodge 381 F & AM.
  
Survivors include his wife, Bessie Preston of Russell, a son, William E.
Preston of Hollywood, FL; a granddaughter, Laura DeBoard of Flatwoods, a
sister, Gertrude Hudson of Florida, and a brother, Curtis Preston of
Salyersville.
  
Funeral services were held Saturday, April 5 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of
the Jones-Preston Funeral Home under the direction of Reverend O. M.
Miller.
  
Burial was in Preston Cemetery in Paintsville. Arrangements were under
the direction of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
