OCENIOUS PRESTON
1917-1955
Ocenious Preston was born March 12, 1917 and died
February 15, 1955, at the age of 27 years, 11 months
and 3 days.
The son of Tip Preston and the late Virgie Lee Preston,
He is survived by one son, Ronald Mark Preston, Alta, Iowa,
his father, step-mother, Mrs. Mary Preston, two brothers,
Euell Preston, Hi Hat, Ky., Wilson Preston, Portsmouth,
Ohio, one sister Mrs. Germa McPheters, Wellston, Ohio,
one aunt, Mrs. Quelphy Preston, Paintsville, and
a host of relatives and friends.
He was a World War II veteran and served in the South
Pacific for four years.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday, February 20, at
the United Baptist Church at Meally with the
Revs. C. J. Sparks, Florida Lyons and B. C. Ferguson
as officiating ministers.
Burial was made under the direction of the
Preston Funeral Home.
