Walter Rice, died March 12, 1984 at the Johnson Co Memorial Hospital
in Clarksville.
Born January 28, 1902 in Johnson Co to Wilson and Sarah J. Auxier
Rice.
A retired farmer he was a resident of Clarksville, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Maymie Sherman Rice.
Survivors are his wife, Ruby Maxwell Rice: two sons, Walter E. Rice
Jr., of Clarksville ARK, Keith Rice of Dayton Ohio; three step sons,
Wallace Markwell, Orlando FL, Rex and Ronnie Maxwell both of Dayton
Ohio; two daughters Mrs. Bobby Gibson of South Point Ohio and Mrs.
Johnny Stambaugh, Mt.View Ark. and two step- daughters Phyllis
Clingman of Plymouth Mi.; and Carol Farmer of Dayton OH.
Survivors also include seven sisters, Mamie Hitchcock, South Point
Oh, Della Rice and Dixie Sheramn of Mechanicsburg Ohio, Martha
Turner, Greenfield Ohio, Ann Lemaster, Columbus Ohio, Jean Litteral,
Flat Gap, and Ella Rice, Sitka
