Paul Richmond, 68, of Van Lear, died Monday, January 12,1998.He was
born February 17, 1929, in Johnson county, the son of Otis Richmond
and Bessie Lee DeLong.
  
He was adisabled miner.
   
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Nellie Jean
Gross Richmond, who died April 23, 1991.
 
He is survived by one son, Kenny Richmond of Hager Hill; one
daughter, Darcia Jaynes of Van Lear; three grandchildren; and three
step-grandchildren.
  
Services were January 14, at Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel.
  
Burial was in the Richmond Cemetery in Johns Creek.
