Frank Sowards, 39, of Flat Gap, died Saturday, Dec. 9 2006.
Born May 4, 1967, in Long Beach, Calif., he was a son of Bill
and Loretta Burchett Sowards. He was a dozer operator.
Additional survivors include his wife, Randi Keeton Sowards of
Flat Gap; a son, Cody Austin Sowards of Flat Gap; three step-
sons, Warren Fitzpatrick, Cole Fitzpatrick, and Alex
Fitzpatrick; a step-daughter, Maddison Fitzpatrick; five
brothers, Rodney Sowards, Dwayne Sowards, Jessie Sowards, Danny
Sowards, and David Sowards, all of Flat Gap; and two sisters,
Rose Wheeler of Paintsville and Paula Hopper of Florida.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. today, Wednesday, Dec. 13, at
Christian Union Enterprise Baptist Church with Tim Salyers
officiating.
Burial will be in Johnson County Memorial Cemetery,
Staffordsville, under direction of Preston Funeral Home,
Paintsville.
