Miranda Wallen, 73, died October 28, at her home in Grove City, Ohio.
   
Born November 24, 1890, at River, she was the daughter of Joseph and
Merzia Dixon Borders.
   
A member of the Primitive Baptist Church, she had been a resident of
Grove City for about three months, having spent most of her life as a
resident of River.
  
She was preceded in death by her husband, G. H. (Ham) Wallen, August
14, 1962.
  
Survivors include, four sons, Mitchell Wallen, Williamsport; Sheila
Wallen, Tampa, Florida; Kermit Wallen, River; Gervin Wallen,
Columbus, Ohio; four daughters, Mrs. Roma Step, Grove City, Ohio;
Mrs. Idyllis Murray, Gallaway, Ohio; Mrs. Easter Brown, Columbus,
Ohio; Mrs. Phyllis Kelly, Johnstown, Ohio, one brother, Lewis.
