1925-1990

Retired taxi driver, Mitchell Walters Jr., 65, died Thursday,
September 20, 1990 at his Paintsville residence.

Mr. Walters was born April 24, 1925 in Johnson County, the son
of Mitchell, Sr. and Goldie Plummer Walters.

Surviving are his wife, Inis Chaffins Walters; two stepsons,
Frank Davis, of Paintsville, and David Davis of Martin County;
one daughter, Carol Williams of Lexington; one stepdaughter,
Paula Ratliff, of Paintsville; one brother, Charles Walters,
of Kenova, West Virginia; three sisters, Dorothy Boyd, of
Paintsville, Loraine Castle of Tutor Key, and Elvie Kindrick;
and one grandchild.

Funeral services were held Sunday, September 23, in the
Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel,
with Quentin Crum officiating.

Burial was in the family cemetery at Meally.
