(Necessary) Ward,74, died Mar.30,1996, at her residence in North Bergen, New Jersey. Mrs. Ward was born January 22, 1922, in Davis Port, the daughter of Orza and Mary Sturgill Necessary. She was a retired school teacher in the Johnson County School system. She is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Ward. Surviving her are two sons, Anthony Ward of Paintsville and John Ward of Boons Camp; five daughters, Patricia Gallion of Boca Raton, Florida, Lynda Ward of Downey, California, Deborah C. Pelphrey of Paintsville, Phoebe J. Del Boccio of North Bergen, New Jersey and Joan M. Daniels of Valdese, North Carolina; two brothers, Frank Necessary of Mechanicsburg, Maryland and Charles Ray Necessary of Speedwell, Tennessee; two sisters, Beatrice Denninson of Ethel, West Virginia and Jean Graco of Williamson, West Virginia; 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held April 4, 1996 at Preston Funeral Home Chapel with Jack Brown and Jerry Castle officiating.
