HAROLD WARD
1921-1992
Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, May 20 1992 at 11:00
a.m. in Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel for Harold Ward, 71. Mr.
Ward, who died Sunday, May 17, in the VA Hospital in Huntington, West
Virginia.
He was born May 14, 1921 in Johnson County, the son of the late
Gervin and Olga Meek Ward. He was a mechanic and member of the Van
Lear Masonic Lodge.
Surviving are his wife, Elsie Arrowood Ward; two sons, Larry Ward of
Paintsville, and Danny Ward of Flatwoods; one brother, Clifford Ward
of Louisa, two sisters, Imogene Houston and Juanita Ward, both of
Meally; and five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Johnson County Memorial at Staffordsville.
