MOLLIE WARD
1901-1968

Mrs. Mollie Ward, 66, of Germantown, OH died Sunday, June 2. Born at
Boons Camp on October 24, 1901, she was the daughter of the late
Richard and Rachel Stanford Sparks and had resided at Germantown for
the last two years. She was affiliated with the Cedar Grove United
Baptist Church.

Her husband, Marvin Ward preceded her in death on August 11, 1964.

Survivors include two sons, John Michael Ward serving with the U. S.
Army and Richard D. Ward of Tucson, AZ; three daughters, Mrs. Walley
Pack of Fairborn, OH, Mrs. Betty Neal of Dayton, OH, and Mrs. Mary
Runyon of Germantown, OH. Additional survivors include three
brothers, and one sister; James Sparks of West Van Lear, Gre4en
Sparks of Ypsilanti, MI, Oits Sparks of Pontiac, MI, and Mable Crum
of Ypsilanti, MI; 15 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Thursday, June 6 in the Cedar Grove United
Baptist Church with C. J. Sparks and Nim Sturgill officiating.

Serving as pallbearers were Stan Turner, Phil Flannery, Herb Moyer,
Danny Adkins, Del Pack and Danny Ward.

Burial was held in the Cumbo Cemetery at West Van Lear. The Preston
Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
