Funeral services were conduced from her home in Red Bush at 10:00
a.m., Saturday, July 7, for Mrs. Missouri A. Williams, 78, who died
Thursday, July 5, 1951 following a 6-month illness.

The daughter of the late Aaron and Sally Hill Webb, she was born
November 28, 1872 in Morgan County. She spent practically all of
her life in Red Bush where she was a well-loved and respected member
of her community.

She was a member of the United Baptist Church.

Her husband, Marcus K. Williams, preceded her in death August, 1940.

Survivors include for children; two daughters, Mrs. Emma turner,
Sciotoville, Ohio, Mrs. Mae Lower, Idaho, Ohio; two sons, Oka L.
Williams, Red Bush, Johnson County Maintenance Foreman for the
Kentucky State Highway Department, and Virgil Williams, Dayton,
Ohio.

Surviving also is a sister, Mrs. Laura Wood of this city.

Revs. Lonza Reed, Tommy Bailey, Dewey Brown, and Merida Wiley,
officiated at the funeral services.

Burial was in the family cemetery at Red Bush under the direction of
the Jones Funeral Home.
