HOCHSTETLER, Gaylord G. October 21, 2004 Gaylord G. Hochstetler, 87, of Lyons, Ohio, went to be with his Lord on Thursday, October 21, 2004. He was the son of Glenn and Emma Hochstetler of Fayette, Ohio. He graduated from Fayette High School in 1936. Gaylord was married to Jo Ann Ranger in 1944. He served in the Air Force during WWII. He was a member of the Lyons Christian Church serving as elder and was involved in many other church activities. He managed with his wife, Jo Ann, the Zellwood Farm Tours in Zellwood, FL. Gaylord also was an avid aviator and received his pilot license in 1976. At the time of his death he was the president of the Lyons Historical Society and he managed the recycling center in Lyons, Ohio. He also was a member of the Lyons Seniors. He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Jo Ann and son, Rodney; sisters, Virgie Fether and Arlean (Carlton) Felger both of Fayette, Ohio and Erva Baker of Morenci, MI. Also surviving is a host of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brother LeRoy. Condolences may be sent to: www.gasiorowskicookmemorial.com. Visitation for Gaylord will be held on Sunday, October 24, 2004, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Lyons Christian Church where funeral services will begin at 4 p.m. with Pastor Brent Pomeroy officiating. Internment will be at the Lyons Cemetery. The family request any memorial contributions in Gaylord's name be made to the Lyons Christian Church Building Fund.
