ANDREWS, Beth Ann (SPIESS) April 23, 2008   ANDREWS, Beth Ann (Spiess), age 57, of Lyons, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2008, at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo, from injuries sustained in automobile accident. She was born on February 28, 1951, in Napoleon, to L. Lyle Spiess and Hilda (Saul) Spiess and they survive. She was an elementary teacher at Swanton Local Schools for 33 years, retiring in 2006. She was a graduate of Liberty Center High School and Ohio Northern University. Beth Ann was active in the The First Christian Church, Wauseon, serving as an elder. She had a passion for her Lord, children, travel and Tim, her husband of 29 years. Beth Ann was loved and survived by her parents, Lyle and Hilda Spiess of Liberty Center; sister, Connie (Dennis) Cahill of Dublin, Ohio and sister-in-law, Susan (Joe) Murry of Lyons; three nieces and two nephews felt her profound influence in their lives; Julie (Jason) Cahill Willis, Erin Cahill, Zachary (Becky) Murry, Luke Murry and Katelin Murry. She was their confidant and second mother. A memorial service in celebration of Beth Ann's life will be held at First Christian Church, 129 E. Elm St., Wauseon, Ohio 43567 at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, 2008. This will be preceded by a private, family graveside service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Beth Ann are requested to be made to either to the First Christian Church or Assistance Dogs of America, 8806 St. Rt. 64, Swanton, OH 43558.
