FRANK BAYES
1893-1980
  
Frank Bayes, 86, died Sunday, April 20 at his Oil Springs home.
  
Mr. Bayes was born Aug 11, 1893 in Johnson County, the son of Charles
and Lois Mayhan Bayes. He was a retired carpenter and farmer and a
member of the Freewill Baptist Church.
  
Preceding him in death was his wife, Lula Lemaster Bayes, May 14,
1963.
  
Surviving are a son, Jesse Bayes, Lucasville, OH; four daughters,
Sarah Liz Meade, Flat Gap, Martha Bayes, Oil Springs, Lois Adkins,
West Liberty, Alka Daniel, Delaware, OH; 22 grandchildren and 28
great grandchildren.
  
Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 22 in Low Gap United
Baptist Church, Oil Springs, with Elder Lonza Reed and Rev. Ellis
Hamilton officiating.
  
Burial was in Williams Cemetery, Oil Springs, with Paintsville
Funeral Home handling arrangements.
