Mrs. Addie Blanton, 72, died Saturday, Sep 10, at her Oil Springs
residence.
 
Mrs. Blanton was born May 18, 1905 in Johnson County, daughter of
George and Cynthia Williams Blanton.
  
She was a member of the United Baptist Church.
  
Surviving are her husband, Grover Blanton; three sons, Robert of Van
Lear, Tommie of Toledo, OH, and Johnnie of Oil Springs; a daughter
Ruth Blanton, of Columbus, OH; a brother and sister, Sanford Blanton
and Sally Pelphrey, both of Staffordsville; four grandchildren; one
great grandchild.
  
Funeral services were held Tuesday, September 13 in the Paintsville
Funeral Home Chapel with Elder J. T. Bailey and Rev. Ellis Hamilton
officiating.
  
Burial was in the Blanton Cemetery at Oil Springs with Paintsville
Funeral Home handling arrangements.
