1916-1972

Clyde Blanton, 56, of Win died Thursday, November 30 in the
Paintsville Hospital following a brief illness.

He was affiliated with the United Baptist church.

He was the son of Lillie Blanton Pelphrey of Volga and the late John
F. Blanton.

Immediate survivors include his wife, Hope Williams Blanton, one son,
Burgess Blanton of Fairborn, OH, one daughter, Mrs. Lyla Honeycutt of
Dayton, OH, and three sisters, Christine Stacy of Pompano Beach, FL,
Ivel McDonald of Columbus, OH, and Neva Lemaster of Manila.

Funeral services were conducted by Lonza Reed, Arnold Reed, and J. T.
Bailey on Saturday, December 2 at 11 a.m. in the Low Gap United
Baptist Church.

Burial followed in the Williams Cemetery at win under direction of
the Paintsville Funeral Home.
