EDNA BLANTON
1914-1980
Mrs. Edna Blanton, 66, died Thursday, October 9, 1980 in UK Medical
Center, Lexington after an extended illness.
Mrs. Blanton was born February 9, 1914 in Johnson County, the daughter
of Hansford and Loueina Fairchild Blanton. She was a resident of Oil
Springs and a member of the United Baptist Church.
Surviving are a brother Laseo Blanton, Paintsville, and four
grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday, October 12, in Low Gap United
Baptist Church, Oil Springs, with Elders, J. T. Bailey, Eual McKenzie
and Wayne Blair officiating.
Burial was in Blanton Cemetery, Oil Springs, with Paintsville Funeral
Home in charge of arrangements.
