Services Held AT Low Gap for Henry F. Blanton

Henry Frank Blanton, 54, of Oil Springs, died Oct. 22, 9:30 a.m.
in the Paintsville Hospital following a few days illness.

Born July 11, 1909, he was the son of Hansferd and Lousina
Fairchild Blanton.

Employed by the State Highway Department, he is survived by his
wife Lizzie Williams Blanton; four daughters, Sina Mae Blanton,
Henrietta Blanton, Ruthie Lynn and Pamlia Blanton all at home, tow
sons Lee Blanton of Staffordsville and Cpl. Adam Blanton stationed
in Okinawa.

Surviving brothers and sisters are Lasco Blanton of Dema; Obid
Cecil Blanton of Fairborn, Ohio; Mrs. Emma Curtis of Oil Springs
and Edna Blanton of Paintsville.

Funeral services were held Oct 24, 1:30 p.m. at the Low Gap United
Baptist Church with Lonza Reed and Charles Stapleton officiating.

Burial was held in the Blanton Cemetery under direction of the
Paintsville Funeral Home.
