THOMAS IRELAND CANTRELL
1933-2006
   
Funeral services were held Saturday, June 3, 1 p.m. at the
Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel of Paintsville, Ky., for Thomas
Ireland Cantrell, 72, of Oil Springs, Ky., who passed away Thursday,
June 1 at his daughter’s residence in Oil Springs.
  
Mr. Cantrell was born Nov. 2, 1933. He was a U.S. Army and National
Guard veteran, and an employee of Ashland Oil.
  
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Cantrell.
  
Surviving are his daughter, Vicki (Lonnie) Kelly of Oil Springs; one
granddaughter, Sherry (Robert) Combs of Oil Springs; and two great-
grandsons, Drew and Kyle Combs.
   
The service was officiated by Elders Buster Blanton, John R. Pelphrey
and Eulas Adams, with burial in the Cantrell Family Cemetery at Oil
Springs.
  
Arrangements under the direction of the Paintsville Funeral Home of
Paintsville.
