JEWELL CLAY
1917-1978
   
Mrs. Jewell Clay, 61, formerly of Johnson County, died October 26, at
Marion, IN. She was the daughter of Richard and Elsie McCoy Bevil, and
was born in Johnson County, on July 21, 1917.
   
A resident of Marion, she was a member of the Assembly of God.
   
Survivors include her husband, Manuel Clay, two sons, James Clay of
Huntington, IN and John Clay of Cincinnati, a daughter, Mrs. Charles
Kidwell of Marion; nine grandchildren and a great grandchild.
  
Services were held Monday, October 30, in the chapel of the Jones-
Preston Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Castle officiating.
  
Burial was in the Richmond Gap Cemetery at Paintsville.
