Manuel Clay, 80, died November 4, 1996, at Howard Community Hospital.
  
He was born October 2, 1916, at Van Lear, the son of John and Vine
Clay.
  
He is preceded in death by his wife Jewell Clay, and both parents, John
and Vine Clay.
  
He is survived by John Clay of Wabash, James Linda Clay of Huntington,
Phyllis Kidwell of Walton, 10 grandchildren and 23 grandchildren.
  
Services were November 7, 1996 at North Chapel.
  
Burial was in Richmond Hill Cemetery.
