Virgil Ray Hall, 66, of Meally, died Thursday, Dec. 27, 2007 at his
residence.
Born May 12, 1941, in Johnson County, he was a son of the late
Virgil and Emma Parker Hall. He was a self-employed auto mechanic
and member of Whitaker Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Christine Wells Hall of Meally; two
sons, Ronnie Hall of Paintsville and James Hall of Campton; three
brothers, Gary Hall of Meally, Arthur Hall of Volga and James Hall
of Martin; a sister, Mary Kirk of Meally; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services were Sunday, Dec. 30, at Whitaker Freewill Baptist
Church with Joe Adkins and Hubert Slone officiating.
Burial was in Edgar Wells Cemetery, Boons Camp, under direction of
Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville.
