SUVILER MCKENZIE
1881-1966
Suviler McKenzie, age 84, died Saturday, September 3 at 6:50 a.m. at
the Paintsville Hospital following a brief illness.
Born December 13, 1881 at Kerz, she was the daughter of Hop Kimbler
and Martha Jones Kimbler.
She had been a resident of Staffordsville for the past 35 years and a
member of the Enterprise Baptist Church.
Her husband and five children preceded her in death.
Survivors include a daughter, Pinie Ratliff of Staffordsville, two
brothers, Bland and Lonzo Kimbler, both of Sitka, 16 grandchildren, 43
great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Monday, September 5, at 1 p.m. at the
home of Freddie Ratliff at Staffordsville with Scott Castle, Bruce
Daniels, and Ellis Hamilton officiating.
Burial was held in the family cemetery at Staffordsville under the
direction of the Preston Funeral Home.
