Dies of Leukemia
Charles Gary Meade, 32, of Sciotoville, Ohio died in the University
Hospital, Columbus, Ohio, at 3:30 p.m., Tuesday, August 10, of acute
leukemia.
Born April 4, 1933 in Staffordsville, he was the son of the late Fred
Hannible Meade and Myrtle Cantrell Frese of Lucasville, Ohio.
Survivors are his wife, Dorothy Cheek, two daughters, Debra Lou and
Rebecca Jane, and one sister, Mrs. Connie Johnson of Sciotoville,
Ohio.
He was a member of the Powellsville freewill Baptist church and was
employed by the Atomic Energy Plant.
Funeral services were conducted at the Powellville Freewill Baptist
Church, Friday, Aug. 13, at 1 p.m. with the Revs. Homer Nelson and
Rickley Adkins officiating.
Burial and graveside rites were at the Meade cemetery in
Staffordsville.
