JIMMY STAFFORD

Jimmy Stafford, 14, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry G. Stafford, died at St.
Mary's Hospital in Huntington, Tuesday, April 8, at 11:30 p.m., after an
illness of several months.

A life-long resident of Paintsville, he was a student in the seventh grade
when he was stricken with Hodgekins Disease last year.

Despite his serious illness, Jimmy had been active in neighborhood
activities. He had taken a paper route and had taken photography as a new
hobby. He suffered a fatal attack last week and was moved to the
Huntington hospital.

Survivors besides his parents are two sisters, Mrs. Barbara Webb and Mrs.
Dorothy Reid, both of Charlotte, N. C., one brother, Gordon Stafford, of
Charlotte, N. C., and one half-brother, Earl Stafford, of Ashland,
Kentucky.

Funeral services will be in the Stafford Cemetery at Staffordsville under
the direction of the Jones Funeral Home.
