Services Today At Meally For Glen Walters
Glen Walters, 70, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Hazel Short
of this city Monday [February 1, 1960] at 7:00 am following an illness
of two years.
The son of Billie and Julia Davis Walters, he was born at Meally
February 3, 1890, and had lived in this city for the past six months.
Surviving besides his daughter are four grandchildren and seven great-
grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted today at 10:00 a.m. from the Church of
Christ at Meally with J.H. Short and S.B. Honeycutt as officiating
ministers.
Burial was in the Meek Cemetery at Concord.
