Charles David Ward, 61, of Auxier, died Monday, April 7, 2003 at St.
Joseph Hospital, Lexington.
Born June 11, 1942, in Martin County, he was a son of the late Jimmy
and Myrtle Wells Ward.
He was an employee of the Common-wealth of Kentucky Department of
Transportation.
He was preceded in death by a brother, James Wallace Ward.
Survivors include a son, Mathew David Ward of Auxier; a brother, W.
D. “Bill” Ward of Paintsville; and two sisters, Hatty Lou Bailey of
Crossville, Tenn., and Sarah Maggie Williams of Athono, Tenn.
Funeral services were Thursday, April 10, at Richmond-Callaham
Funeral Home, Inez, with Rev. Jack Ward officiating.
Burial was in Wells Cemetery, Boons Camp, under direction of
Richmond- Callaham Funeral Home.
