Wallace Ward, 11, Dies At Williamsport
Wallace Ward, the eleven year old son of Mrs. Myrtle Ward of Williamsport, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday morning Feb.01 1947, at the Golden Rule Hospital, where he had been a patient for some several weeks.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the home.
Reverend Charles Perry, cousin of the deceased and pastor of the Stone Methodist Church, officiated.
Reverend C. D. Harsh, pastor of the Mayo Memorial assisted.
Pallbearers were Clarence Dutton, Homer, Hobert, and Denver Wells.
The song service was prepared by members of the choir of the Wells Chapel.
Burial was made in the family cemetery.
