CHARLES MADISON WELLS
1892-1995
Paintsville resident Charles Madison “Charlie” Wells, 102, died
Sunday, June 18, at Highlands Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Wells was born August 29, 1892, in Johnson County, the son of the
late William G. Wells and Molly Morris.
He was an insurance salesman and veteran of World War I.
Surviving are one brother, George Wells of Pikeville and one sister,
Pearl Short of Paintsville. Funeral services were held Tuesday, June
20, at Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial was in Wells Family Cemetery at Boons Camp.
