SAMUEL BLANTON

Samuel Blanton, 43, died July 17, at U. K. Medical Center,
Lexington.
   
Mr. Blanton was born May 22, 1952, in Hamilton, Ohio, the son of
Claude and Wilma Godsey Blanton of Oil Springs. He was disabled.
  
Surviving are two sons, Jessie James and Matthew Lee Blanton, both
of Oil Springs, four brothers, Charles of River, Lenzie of Oil
Springs, Jerry of Akron, Indiana and Sedrick of West Liberty; and
two sisters, Peggy Webb and Joyce Fairchild, both of Oil Springs.
  
Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, July 19, at 1 p.m.
Pigeon Enterprise Baptist Church, Oil Springs, with Revs. Charles
Stapleton and Lenzie Meade officiating.
  
Burial will be in Blanton Cemetery at Oil Springs, with Paintsville
Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
