STAFFORDSVILLE, DIES SUNDAY

Mrs. Laura Ealey Bowman, 74, died at the home of her son, Theodore
Ealey at Staffordsville Sunday morning, April 19, 1959 of a heart
attack following a brief illness.

The daughter of Riley and Susan Tackett Blevins, she was born in this
county March 5, 1885 and had been a lifelong resident of
Staffordsville. She was a member of the United Baptist Church.

Her first marriage was to Clint Ealey who preceded her in death. She
was later married to Bill Bowman, who also preceded her in death.

Surviving besides her son Theodore, is another son, Garland Ealey,
Turner Branch. Also surviving are two brothers Smith Blevins,
Staffordsville: Grant Blevins, Waverly, KY. ; One sister Rosa
Lemaster, Lucasville, Ohio.

Funeral services were conducted at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday April 21, from
the old Union Church at Staffordsville with Lonea Reed and Lloyd
Williams as officiating ministers.

Burial was in the Stafford Cemetery at Staffordsville.
