Dies November 8 At Mine Fork

Mrs. Maxie Colvin Cantrell, 49, died at 1:00 a.m., November 8, at her
home at Mine Fork following an illness of eleven years.

She was born at Hargus April 3, 1911, the daughter of J. H. and Alice
Fairchild Colvin and had lived at Mine Fork for the past eighteen
years.

Survivors include her husband, Mitchell Cantrell; five sons, James
Odis, Francis, Herman, Ira, and Archie Cantrell all of Mine Fork; a
daughter, Dora Mae Cantrell, Mine Fork; four sisters, Molly Hitchcox,
Stockdale, Ohio; Mrs. John Bailey, Jackson, KY.; Mrs. Sarah Bailey,
Beaver, Ohio; May Blanton, Martha; four brothers, Earl Colvin,
Beaver, Ohio; Tom Colvin, Piketon, Ohio; Jeff Colvin, Oil Springs;
Manford Colvin, East Point.

Funeral services were conducted at 1:00 p.m., at the Low Gap United
Baptist Church with Lonza Reed as officiating minister.

Burial was in the family cemetery at Manila.
