GARLAND EALEY
1902-1974
Garland Ealey, 72, of Paintsville, succumbed to an extended illness
on October 15.
Born in Johnson County on February 5, 1902, Mr. Ealey was the son of
the late Clint and Laura Blevins Ealey. He was a retired painter.
Surviving are his wife, Octava Sevage Ealey; one step son, Hershell
Fairchild of Paintsville and one step daughter, Opal Sublett of Lima,
OH and a brother, Theodore Ealey of Staffordsville.
Funeral services for Mr. Ealey were held October 18 in the Chapel of
the Jones-Preston Funeral Home with Reverends Toby Weaver and Alfred
Frazier, Jr. officiating.
Burial was in the family cemetery at Staffordsville under the
direction of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
