ALLEN WOMAN DIES SUDDENLY; SERVICES SUNDAY

Mrs. Minnie Skeens, wife of Frank Skeens of Allen, Ky., died
suddenly Thursday at the home of her sister-in-law, Mrs. Jim
Murphy, in Ashland, Ky.

Death was attributed to a heart attack.

Born January 20, 1892, in Johnson County, she was the daughter of
Jack Pennington, who preceded her in death, and Laura Adams
Pennington, who survives. 

She was a member of the United Baptist Church.

Surviving besides her mother and her husband are one brother,
Walter Pennington, Lucasville, Ohio, and one sister, Virginia
Daniel, Wheelersburg, Ohio.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Fish Trap
United Baptist Church, with Cullie Sparks, Foster Rigsby, and
Lonza Reed as officiating ministers.

Burial was made in the Williams Cemetery, Low Gap, Ky., under the
direction of the Paintsville Funeral Home.
