RUTH STAFFORD
1902-1990
Ruth Burch Stafford, 87, died Friday, March 2, in North Carolina.
Mrs. Stafford was born October 14, 1902 in Carmargo, the daughter of
David and Blaine Sheppard Burch. She was a former resident of
Paintsville and a retired pastry chef.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry G. Stafford.
Surviving are one son, Harry Gordon Stafford; and two daughters,
Barbara Webb, of Columbia, South Carolina and Dorothy Reid, of
Matthews, North Carolina.
Funeral services were held Sunday, March 4, in Jones-Preston Funeral
Home Chapel, with Revs. Robert Benson and Martha Reid Smith
officiating.
Burial was in Stafford Cemetery at Staffordsville.
