ALMA VANHOOSE

Alma Blanton VanHoose, 85, of Dunbar, WV, formerly of Johnson County,
died Tuesday, April 18, in Charleston, WV.
  
Mrs. VanHoose was born September 2, 1909, in Johnson County, the
daughter of the late Sam and Sarah Fairchild Blanton.
  
Also preceding her in death was her husband, Bert VanHoose, on August
10, 1973.
  
Surviving are one son, James B. VanHoose of Charleston; two
daughters, Sarah Worley of Ft. Pierce, FL and Alma Lee Downey of St.
Albans, WV; and nine grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
  
Funeral services were held Thursday, April 20 at Paintsville Funeral
Home Chapel with Rev. Bart Haynes officiating.
  
Burial was in Blanton Cemetery at Win.
