BETTY CASTLE

Betty (Betz) Castle, 76, died Thursday, May 1, in Highlands Regional Medical
Center after an extended illness.
  
Born April 7, 1904, in Floyd County, she was the daughter of Green and
Kallie Hale Bradley, and was a resident of Thealka.
  
Surviving are her husband, Ervin (Shorty) Castle, six sons, Bob, Vertis,
Verlin and Virgil Castle, Thealka, Green Castle, Annapolis, MD, and Charles
Castle, Mt. Pleasant, SC; a daughter, Fannie White, Ft. Bragg, NC, three
sisters, Lula Roach, New Berry, MI, Maudie Trollbridge, MI, and Liza
Bradley, Detroit, MI; 16 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
  
Funeral services were held Sunday, May 4, in Jones- Preston Funeral Home
Chapel with Rev. Don Fraley and Bill Meadows officiating.
  
Burial was in Ervin Castle Cemetery, Thealka, with Jones-Preston Funeral
Home in charge of arrangements.
