Funeral services were held Sep 1 in Thealka Freewill Baptist church for
Georgia D. Nelson.
  
Mrs. Nelson died Aug 29 at her Thealka home. She was born Mar 13, 1918 in
Johnson County, the daughter of George W. and Anna Blevins Golden. She was a
member of the Freewill Baptist Church.
  
Her husband, Vencil Nelson, preceded her in death. Surviving are two sons,
Hedgel Nelson, Marion, OH, and Vencil Nelson, Jr. AZ; three daughters,
Blanch Castle, Thealka, Marie Ross, Lowmansville, and Mary Anna VanHoose,
Spring Valley, CA; 19 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
  
Don Fraley and Irvin Castle officiated at services with burial in Castle
Cemetery at Thealka.
  
Jones-Preston Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
