Aird, Quebec Canada, was located in the county of Missisquoi, which was originally known as the Seigneurie of Foucault

The black mark   X shows the site of the house rebuilt by Robert Macfie after the fire. Located at the corner of Chemin Macfie that runs from  Aird on the map to  Lake Shore Road, and Lake Shore Road which runs from the border with the USA right up to Nutt's Corners then turns up onto meet route 223 the main road from Noyan to Clarenceville and to Venise .   Places such as Aird, Nutt's Corner's, Hecks Corner, Dairy Valley, and Miranda have long past, what ever type of  community groupings they were back in the times when this area was a thriving  community have long faded in to the past.
