Alice Rebecca Harlan-Kennedy-Trask-Witherill, daughter of James Pouncy Harlan and Mary Ann Caruthers was born at Cathy's Creek, Tennessee. She married David O. Kennedy on May 7, 1882 in Columbia, Tennessee. 7 children; Eva, Rosa, Mary, Archie, Loyd & Roy (Twins) and David Jr. were born of that union.
George E. Trask Jr., was born of Alices's second marriage to George E. Trask. Alice outlived 3 husbands and 6 of her 8 children.

Obituaries
Mrs. Alice R. Witherill
Funeral services for Mrs. Alice Rebecca Witherill, 74, of 230 North Ivy St., Medford, Ore., who died Thursday, will be held at Conger-Morris at 11 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. William C. Piper of the First Christian Church will officiate. Committal will be in Sterling Cemetery.
Mrs. Witherill was born Aug 12, 1862 in Columbia, Tenn. She had lived in the Applegate valley for many years prior to moving to Medford in 1926. She was a member of the First Christian Church.
Survivors include sons, Roy Trask, Cottage Grove; and George Trask, Sutter, California; daughter, Mrs. Eva Baxter, Brussels, Belgium; and Mrs. David Kennedy, Banning, California; eight grand children and 14 great grandchildren.
