Hobby My hobby is Genealogy. All of my off-duty time is spent searching for my ancestors. My hobby began when I visited New Liberty/Liberty Church Cemetery, Cotton Township, Switzerland County, Indiana as a boy. My Great, 2nd Great, and 3rd Great Grandfather Dunnings are buried here, as well as numerous other relatives. My 3rd Great Grandfather migrated to Cotton Township, Switzerland County, Indiana from Orange County, New York in the early 1820s. While searching for my ancestors, I have been to several cemeteries in Switzerland County, Indiana. A very good source document for cemeteries in Switzerland County is Switzerland County, Indiana Cemetery Inscriptions 1817-1985 published by Wanda L. Morford. I drew a diagram of the Vevay Cemetery for her book. |
