In the name of God Amen This is the last will and testament of me Thomas Bullock of the Town of Chepstow in the County of Monmouth Gentleman who being by sudden illness weak in body but of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding do make this my last will and testament in manner following that is to say I give devise and bequeath all my goods chattels ready money securities for money and all other my furniture shop goods book debts and personal estate whatsoever except my household furniture and table plate which is herein otherwise disposed of unto my loving brother Morgan Bullock of the Town of Monmouth Clerk Pleasant his wife and Sybil Penry of the said Town of Monmouth spinster their executors and administrators in trust nevertheless to and for the several uses trusts intents and purposes hereinafter mentioned (that is to say) that they the said Morgan Bullock Pleasant his wife and the said Sybil Penry and the survivors and survivor of them and the executors and administrators of such survivor do and shall as soon as conveniently may be after my decease sell and dispose thereof for the most money that can be had for the same and call in all my shop debts and other debts that shall be due to me at the time of my decease and apply the money arising from such sale in manner following. First to lay out and place at interest in the name of my said trustees or the survivors or survivor of them the sum of six hundred pounds and to permit and suffer my loving wife Frances to receive and take the interest thereof to her own use during the term of her natural life for her better support and maintenance over and besides any provision that has been made for her by any former deed or settlement whatsoever and as to the remainder of my said personal estate (except as before excepted) as well also as of the said six hundred pounds after the decease of my said wife it is my will and I do hereby declare that the devise thereof as aforesaid made to my said trustees is upon this special trust and confidence that they my said trustees and the survivors and survivor of them shall and will manage the same at his her and their discretion for the benefit of all my children and for their support and maintenance and do and shall divide the same to and amongst my said children at such times and at such their respective ages and in such manner form shares and proportions as to them my said trustees or the survivors or survivor of them seem meet? proper and convenient without any restraint limitation or restriction whatsoever all my household goods furniture and table plate I give to my said loving wife Frances for and during the term of her natural life with full power to give and devise the same to all or any of my said children in such shares and proportions as she shall think proper. I hereby also make my loving wife my said brother Morgan Bullock Pleasant his wife and the said Sybil Penry and the survivors and survivor of them guardians and guardian of my said children. I hereby also nominate constitute and appoint my said brother Morgan Bullock Pleasant his wife and the said Sybil Penry joint executors of this my will in trust for the purposes above by me mentioned and declared. In witness whereof I have to this my will containing one sheet of paper set my hand and seal this twenty fourth day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and sixty. Thos Bullock.

This will was proved at London on the eighteenth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and sixty two before the Right Worshipfull Sir Edward Simpson, Knight, also Doctor of Laws &c by the oaths of the Reverend Morgan Bullock, Clerk, Pleasant (wife of the said Morgan Bullock) and Sybil Penry, spinster, the executors named in the said will to whom administration of all and singular the goods chattels and credits of the said deceased was granted they having been first sworn by Commission duly to administer.
