In the name of God Amen I Vaughan Daniel of the parish of Trevethin in the County of Monmouth and Diocese of Landaffe millwright do make this my last will and testament in manner and forme following (that is to say) first and principally I commend my soul to ye Almighty God my Creator, and my body to the earth from whence it was taken to be decently buried at ye discretion of my executrix hereafter named, and as touching such worldly goods as ye Lord in mercy hath lent me, my will and meaning is ye same be imployed and bestowed where after by this my will is expressed, and I do revoke renounce, frustrate and make void all other wills by me formerly made, do ratifie and confirm this to be my last will and testament Also I will that all my due debts be satisfied and paid, also I give and bequeath unto Jenkin my eldest son the best chaffe bed with its appertenances to be delivered to him after his mothers decease or marriage, also I give and bequeath unto Vaughan my youngest son the clock to be delivered to him after his mothers decease or ye day of her marriage, lastly I give and bequeath all ye rest of my goods cattles chattells and creditts whatsoever herein not bequeathed unto Mary my well beloved wife whom I do nominate and appointe to be sole executrix of this my last will and testament, and after her decease or ye day of her marriage I give and bequeath all my said goods cattles, chattels and creditts unto Vaughan my youngest son and I do nominate and appoint Jenkin Roger my father in law, William Matthews and Thomas Matthews my first cousins to be overseers tutors and guardians to oversee and to take care for ye execution of this my last will according to ye true meaning thereof during my childrens minority.
