This is the last will and testament of me Thomas Dumayne of the Town of Newport in the County of Monmouth made this first day of September 1762 I confirm the settlement made on my beloved wife and as to all my personal estate, goods and effects I give and bequeath the same between my said wife Sarah and my two children Thomas and Sarah share and share alike and I do hereby constitute, nominate and appoint my said wife and children joint executors and executrixes of this my will. Signed, sealed, published, pronounced and declared by the said Thomas Dumayne as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us who in his presence and in the presence of each other and at his request have subscribed our names as witnesses thereunto. Thos Mills Hoare, Hen Morgan.
July the 11th 1763. Sarah Dumayne, widow, the relict one of the executors in this will named was sworn well and faithfully to execute the same to exhibite an inventary &c and to render an account &c (power being first reserved to the other executors &c) before me. Nathl Wells, Surrogate
This will was proved at Landaff on the eleventh day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and sixty three before the Reverend Mr Nathaniel Wells, Clerk, Master of Arts, the Chancellors Surrogate, by Sarah Dumayne, widow, the relict one of the executors in this will named who was first on the holy Evangeligists personally sworn well and faithfully to execute the same to exhibite an inventary &c and to render a just account of her administration thereof when thereunto lawfully required (power being first reserved to Thomas Dumayne and Sarah Dumayne the other executors in this will named when they apply for the same)
